synapticjava: (flicker by me)
([personal profile] synapticjava Dec. 11th, 2003 01:29 pm)

So I stole this from [profile] karenbear , and I think it's a pretty great idea. So here:

I know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes spinach."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.

Re: LOL

No, it's cool. I myself am pro-choice. I personally don't agree with nor like abortion, but I think it should be souly up to the woman. Like yur stance though.

Re: LOL

Why thank you! I certainly think being pro-choice is generally a better way to be; frankly, I'm frequently untrustful of people who identify as pro-life because it so horribly often comes along with a whole crapful of misogyny and backwardness and BS. (For example, folk who are "pro-life" and support the death penalty. What the crap?) So I guess what it really comes down to is being politically pro-choice but personally pro-life...heh, what a weasly way of putting things. I rule.
