*ahem*

For those interested/worried/concerned, I did survive the worst day of this week. I got everything done and turned in on time for yesterday.

Now today I have four mini-papers to write and one huge paper to revise that's due for tomorrow. And tomorrow I have another major paper to write. Which means that I can't go to Blue Man Group *cries*. I've had these tickets for a month now, it's so not fair.

Also supposed to be in the St. Patrick's Day parade on saturday, but I'll have to cancel that too so I can study for finals next week.

I really really fucking hate DePaul.

Okay

First: my amazon.com order came today. I'm now the pround new owner of Phantom of the Opera - The Motion Picture Soundtrack Delux Edition Collectors Set. And also Christopher Rice's new book which I will promptly read the first day of my Spring Break. (which by the way is in 9 days, just so y'all know)

Second: This is my official decision on the matter of Gerard Buttler as the Phantom. Because I know you're all in suspense. He's much better if I don't have to see him "act" the part of Phantom. But still? Don't like him as much as Crawford. But I suppose he'll do, if it means that Patrick Wilson plays/sings/acts the part of Raoul. I like him much better. And Emmy? *guh*

I'm slow and sluggish and completely dead right now.

And I still have a paper to finish revising, as well as four smallish (1-3 pg) summaries to do. And I also need to at least gather the information I need for the paper I have to write tomorrow/night.

I did nearly all of the revisions today, but I need to put in what the t-tests indicated. Which should be fun, because I don't know. I think the final final draft may have to wait until tomorrow before class so I can get the scoop from classmates. *headdesk*

Theoretically, I can finish the paper and the four summaries (which are required to be turned in with the paper) by midnight and get an actual good night's rest, leave the paper/research for tomorrow night. Hah. Why do anything easy like?

I'm really debating going to bed now and just getting up really early tomorrow (like 4am) and finishing everything, but I'm afraid I won't wake up and I'll be screwed. *sigh*

Dammit!

To get an A (a low one at that), I need to get 100% on the final. But if I get a middle C on the final, I'll wind up with a middle B for the class. This is important, because I need to decide how much effort I'm going to put into studying for that final.

Should I stress myself out knowing that I will most likely not get the grade I want, or should I slow down and take the grade I'm still happy to get?

Uh, yeah. Still listening to Phantom. Actually, I think the guys on my floor have probably about had it with me. I have the movie soundtrack, the original stage show soundtrack, and the second disk of the german soundtrack all in my stereo. *evil laugh*

I can't help it - the music is so intoxicating and addictive. Maybe I need a Phantom intervention?

Man, am I glad I don't go to high school anymore. My sister just told me they now have military presense on campus - patrolling the roofs before and after school and during lunch. With guns, even. Is that to protect them? Or are they supposed to shoot someone skipping class or going to the parking lot for a smoke? jesus christ.
