For those interested/worried/concerned, I did survive the worst day of this week. I got everything done and turned in on time for yesterday.

Now today I have four mini-papers to write and one huge paper to revise that's due for tomorrow. And tomorrow I have another major paper to write. Which means that I can't go to Blue Man Group *cries*. I've had these tickets for a month now, it's so not fair.

Also supposed to be in the St. Patrick's Day parade on saturday, but I'll have to cancel that too so I can study for finals next week.

I really really fucking hate DePaul.

NO PARADE!!!!!!!

Is any degree worth missing a parade? I don't think so..... :)

You'll make it through, hon.

Well, on the bright side, it's supposed to snow and be 25 degrees - not exactly fun marching weather.

Bleck! Stupid DePaul! Who is going to be in the parade? Anyone I know? Should I even bother getting up to watch it?

Eh, I wouldn't get up if I were you. At this point, I think it's going to be Lauren flying the damn balloon.

So very glad we haven't looked at your LJ only to see a big *kersplat* on our monitors where your head exploded! Glad you made it through this week! Sorry about the parade and show though, sometimes things just aren't fair.

Heehee. Brad-kersplat would be a bad thing:)

Thanks, hun.

Wait a minute... Blue Man group, St. Patty's parade... Are you a fellow Bostonian?

Oh and um yeah, I am too lazy to check user info page, sorry. *g*

Chicago eh? I didn't know Blue Man group was out there. I've been trying to go for about 3 years I think. Well ever since their first "Intel" commercial. I have a friend who made it his New Years resolution to go, so ever since then it's almost become a running joke between us. "One day" we'll see that blasted play, you know? Sounds like it's not just hard for us to see it either. maybe there's a Blue Man curse? *g*

I've been lucky enough to see it once before. But, without spoiling you or anything, it's definetely a show that's worth seeing mulitple times - each time it changes a little. But since the first time I saw it, they've changed the format. That's why I was so psyched to go:(

Oh feel free to spoil me. Maybe once I actually know what it's about, I'll finally get to see the dang thing. Or at the very least have some nagging insentive where my friend is concerned. He's a big reason why we haven't gone yet. Major procratinator.

And I'm sorry you can't go this time around. Are they just there on tour, or will they stay put for a while?

Actually, there's really not much to spoil about. It's really just...wierd. It's really hard to describe. Basically, it's an interactive experience that uses all of your senses. it's improv, lasers, music, dance, everything.

Actually, they've got their own theater here. I think ours was the third to go up, they've been around here a few years. Maybe for my birthday I'll buy a ticket and go.
