I went and emailed that website that [livejournal.com profile] karenbear  put up about Implicit Association Tests to Dr. Henry.  That's the sweet little professor I had last quarter that I fell head over heels for.  Anyway, I sent it to him because I thought maybe he could use it or would at least get a kick out of it. So, four things:

1)He REMEMBERED me.  He's had easily over 2,000 kids by now and he remembered *me*

2)He thanked me

3)He said he really enjoyed having me in his class

4)He said he REALLY hopes he can have me again.  You know, in a class (damn my luck).

*wibble* *guh* *thud*

So - Dr. Henry update:) I'm applying to be a volunteer research assistant for his current studies. A mininum of four hours (probably what I'll do) a week, a weekly meeting and general lab experience. I'd be doing stuff like laundry, cleaning, data entry; basically intern work. I'd also be the graduate students bitch. BUT, not only will I get to spend four hours with Dr. H, I'll also get some great lab experience for my portfolio. It'll look great on my grad school applications, it'll offer valuable reference material for future studies I decide to assist in, and it's something I'm very excited about. The current research he's compiling is about stereotypes and prejudice. I just printed out every study he's been involved in up to this point, so I have a lot of material to sort through (I want to be very thurough).

And now for the homework I've put off *ALL* weekend. First, a minimum of three research article summaries for Child Psych due tomorrow. And also an assload of reading (which isn't required, but I really don't want to fall behind again). And also I have to read the research study that was the basis for One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. That one actually looks kind of fun.

Then it's off to the gym.

And then I need to fill out my application, and compile a few essays I'm going to submit with it. Wheeee.

EDIT: And this would most certainly *not* be a link to a page that could *definetely* not have a picture of him on it. Because that would be wrong and icky and immature.
