Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] wilde_moon, for reminding me about JATD. Now I can't get this damn song outta my head. I don't even really like this show.

So I was able to claw my way out of default status. I'm pretty sure they bamboozled me into paying twice I what I was willing and just barely what I can actually afford, but I didn't have to touch my savings! My vacation fund is all dried up, so unless I save every penny between now and November, it looks like West Palms won't happen. But dammit, I'm current. Huzzah!

What's really nice is the overage I'll be paying is countered by the fact that the goverment consollidated my loans through them and cut my interest and payments in half. So really I'll only be paying about $100 more a month, which is manageable. Just means a few less runs through Taco Bell drive through. And, with no one to be spending money on, it works. I never realized, but BFs are expensive, yo!

So, yay. Now back to my regularily scheduled day off.

Another kick-ass reason to squee: It's now my third day off of three, and I've yet to recieve a nasty-gram from work. Hurrah!

Ah, good. Sucks that you can't be given more time to deal with this, but i'm glad you still have your savings.

And hey! Taco Hell is soooo bad for you anyway, all that salt and...cat-food-like meat.
*shudder*

Enjoy the rest of your day off!
:)

Well dang! Hello there!

It's good to hear from ya again. And yeah, the financial stuff can be a beeeaatch. And who was it that said money can't but happiness? That's kind of a trick statement isn't it? Because money could sure buy a lot of folks peace of mine, and time to pursue that happiness.

It's good to hear you got it all squared away though. It must be a load off your mind. And go you! Three days off.
