Friday night I worked, and even though it was busy, we still did crappy on tips (GODS BUT I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO GET WARM!). And I had such a bad couple of weeks that, despite not making any money and being seriously dangerously broke right now, I opted for going out after work. So me and Nando and Johnathon and Aaron went to Charlie's. I only had a couple of drinks, which makes it the first time I've gone in there and come out of there still sober. Go, me. While we were there, though, I ran into Brian, this cute guy I met at work who came in Thursday night, asked when I worked next, and came in on Friday to see me. We danced all naughty-like and he leaned over and yelled "You are really hot!" Didn't get a chance to exchange numbers, but I have a feeling I'll be seeing him again, soon. Anyway, after we left Charlie's, we went to IHOP (this was like 4amish) and gorged ourselves on senseless carbs and starches. Good times.

Saturday, I worked for the catering company. It wasn't too bad, but now I'm really starting to hate it. It's so boring, and you're on your feet for 12 hours walking around in circles carying crap. It's boring, monotinous, and nerve-wracking. This party wasn't bad though. It was at the Catalyst Ranch, downtown. It's decorated in 50s decco. It's just a really cool venue. Anyway, there was a guy I hadn't worked with before, Dan, who I was getting a definete spike on the gaydar all night. Finally, towards the end of the night, I asked if he and one of the other servers were brothers because they picked on each other a lot. Dan goes "More like sisters...er, a sister and a brother." So, gay. He's really handsome - ice blue eyes, and jet black hair *wibble* - and a sweet heart. He said he's going to stop into Gentry sometime, so that'd be cool. But then I found out another one of the guys that we were working with - the bartender that I can't stand because he's such an ass - is gay, too. And my Supervisor, Brian, is a big old queen. All in all, it was a pretty queer evening. While I'm driving home, Matt called me and asked me to meet him at Gentry for a cocktail. So I came home and changed and got all prettified and whatnot. Got to Gentry, only to find out that Matt's mom is with him. AMBUSH! She seems really nice, though, despite that both her and Matt were drunk by the time I got there. She was talking to a couple of guys, telling them all about Matt, and generally trying to get him married by the end of the night. It worked, she got 2 numbers for him. I was like "WTF?" I had two drinks, and left not too long after they did.

Yesterday, I opened the bar and bartended till 9pm. Didn't do too bad on tips, for a Sunday open. I got my boss, Aaron, all kinds of drunk off Jager, Patron, and Citron tripples. He left early, leaving me alone to bartend. I definetely like bartending. Sooo much fun. Fernando came in, relieved me, and I'm sitting there having a cocktail when Arben called and told me to meet them downtown and go to the Baton - a Female Impersonation revue - so I figure what the hell, hop in a cab, and a half an hour later, I'm enjoying the show. They actually put on quite a show, I was really impressed. I've never been to an impersonator show before. Afterwords, we headed to Gentry on State (there's two - the one I work at, on Halstead, and the one downtown, on State) until they closed, and we all headed to Bijan's Bistro, a bistro that's open until 4am. In the meantime, we met these four British boys that are in town performing Swan Lake, so we invited them along. There was me, Luther & Arben, Poodle, Mark, Danny, Mikey, Eric, Josie, James, and the four Brittons, Edwin, Peter, Stuart, and Aaron. Luther wound up getting really really drunk (he never drinks, and he was up there ordering shots) and causing this huge scene. I got to talk to real live English boys (from London) who were all really cute, and who all got a little frisky with me (go me!). And it was all good, until the bill came. $500. I seriously choked on my dinner - I have never seen a bill like that in my life. Then everyone got mad and angry, because the English guys had ordered two bottles of champaigne for themselves, plus their meals, and their drinks. And then the other 10 of us all had a drink, a meal, and Luther's 14 shots. Anyway, it was a big mess that caused a lot of drama and another international incident. We finally left a little after 4am, I got all of the English boys numbers and emails, and promised to look them up if ever I'm over there. We hopped in a cab, and all went home. I woke up this morning, looked at the clock, and went back to sleep, thus ditching my day classes today.
