If you're pushing past 103 you should start to get worried, especially if aspirin doesn't take it down in about forty minutes.
I had a temp of 104 something a few months ago but aspirin made it go down a bit in under an hour so i didn't worry about it but everyone *else* did and if you're the sort of person who gets delirious and/or comatose with high fever, then - get thee to a doc. Or an ER. Fevers are nothing to trifle with. Hope you're better soon! *pet pet*
Not sure exactly...was in an Urgent Care facility the other day (hubby jammed his finger while snow tubing) and there was a little kid literally RUNNING around the waiting room, yet the parent claimed he had a temp of 105. Hubby I agreed that was highly unlikely given the fact the kid was jumping around and playing. Personally, I think if he did have a temp that high, the ole Urgent Care nurses would have sent him to the hospital. Basically, all I can say is if you're worried and it isn't going to down, like Tab said, get thee to the Doc!

Fyi, figure about a cup of water, juice, etc an hour to drink, to help keep your fever down. No alcohol.
