So, is anyone as excited for this movie to come out as I am?
I just checked out the soundtrack and whee! Two songs sung by Rufus, which makes me happy:)
As for the movie - guh! Should probably wait till it comes out and I get to see it, but I'm kind of excited that it's a "mainstream" movie about two gay cowboys in love. Maybe attitudes are changing?
Either way - yay!

I hate that i've seen the two stars discussed on tv in the past two months as having 'new projects' and this movie wasn't mentioned *once*. Makes me mad.
I didn't even *know* about this movie until I saw the trailer when I went to see RENT - not having TV and all - and my jaw dropped.
Me too! I'm really interested, because I'm hoping it'll break some of the stereotypes, or at least get people thinking!

I saw some really *stupid* comment made by some person in Montana - not sure who, somebody in the tourist/business kind of arena like...Chamber of Commerce and they said 'why do they have to make a movie like this? Montana is all about cowboys and real men and now people will think we're all gay up here'.
Basically.
*boggles*
How stupid can people be?
Oh! Want to see 'Rent' really bad!!

You know, it never fails, that always makes me wonder how people can be *THAT* stupid/ignorant. Grrr.
RENT was...hrmmm. T'was good, I liked it overall. Just some things in it that made me go *squick*. I guess it's true - a stage show can never be made perfectly into a movie. But you should still see it, totally!
