Went to work last night. I got downtown about a half hour before we had to be there, so I grabbed some lunch and walked around for a bit. And, despite my constant worrying about money and stuff, I have to say: I love my city. It's so pretty and lively and busy. I loves it.

Anyway, work went well. It was a wedding at the Cultural Center, and boy was it pretty. The bride was *gorgeous*. Although, I got a little bit disconcerted when the body guards came in. Yeah, I don't know who the people were that got married, but someone there was an important person, because there were two guys at the door, one guy at each corner of the dining room, and two more walking around the outside of the building. I kept waiting for something awful to happen (Godfather Much?).

I worked from basically 3 - 11 last night, and the train was packed on my way home. So 8 hours of standing and running at work + 1 hour STANDING train ride home + walking three blocks to my car from the station + walking one block from my car to the apartment = OUCH!!! I have totally forgot how it feels to have an actual job, as opposed to sitting on my ass all day reading fanfiction like at Barat. *muah* But, I really do like this job. It's fun. It is a lot of work, but it's kind of mindless. Once you get the hang of it, you can turn on the autopilot and not have to even think about it.

Speaking of work, time to get to it. We're doing an event in Lake Forest this afternoon. I have no clue where or what we're doing. All I know is that we're meeting at the main office in Lincolnwood and they're bussing us to the location. If y'all don't hear from me again, it means I've been kidnapped.

tootles.

Yes, I think it *is* little. Hehe. The kidnappers turned out to be the American Cancer Society, so I couldn't really complain.
