Okay, so the apartment? Was quite a ways out of where I wanted, was about $100 more than I'd told them I could afford, and had a nasty "vintage" bathtub, and no air conditioning. The other one was about 1/4th the size of my current dorm room and on the top of a 4 story walk-up.

In short, I do not yet have a place to live. And I'm fucking knackered.

Sorry to do this, almost feel rude, but I have a ?/favor to ask. One of the guys in my school's GSA is going to your college next semester and I was wondering, since he doesn't know anyone out there and is kinda shy, if you'd be willing to exchange e-mail addresses with him?

Oh, that's not rude at all. Rude would be "hey, will you wh0re yourself out so I can get some pretty new shoes?". I'd be happy to help your friend out or whatever, though, I'm kind of new to the Lincoln Park Campus, myself. Wow, look at all those comas!

Keep an eye out for the ultra pale landlords with shutters on all their windows --- could be a good sign or a bad sign of course. :-)
