Okay, so Poetry with Kordecki got me thinking and writing...this is what I came up with. Notice the meter! It's not exactly a happy poem either...

After You
Those who look not through seeing eyes
Easiest see the beauty inside.
Those who cry not of broken hearts
Are those who wish not on falling stars.
The boiling tide skids up the sand.
Dark twisting terror scars the land.
Furious fire lets loose its tongue.
A trembling earth ruptures a lung.
The sky falls down as stars explode.
Blood flows thicker as heat grows cold.
Birds fly from fright into the flame.
Stallions run wild which once were tame.
Mighty oaks sweep down as if rain.
Raging rivers curse loudly in pain.
Bright brilliant blizzards blind west.
Acidic gas escapes the breast.
The evening sun tears to pieces.
The morning moon exudes disease.
Midnight blossoms explode at noon.
Hell’s fiery fury free and loose.
Great winged beasts scour all the land.
Nothing alive in this world stands.
Those blinded are luckiest yet.
They see beauty even in death.

LOL

Nah, nothing like that. I'm just saying, for those who actually *like* that sort of thing. It was actually pretty easy to write. You were the one who said "it will help your writing"
.
