Well, I can honestly say if there's ever a fire here I'll burn up and die. Jesus H. Christ! We just had a fire drill. I couldn't hear the alarm AT ALL. I had no clue anything was happening until the Fireman opened my door and then I saw the lights. I was like "Shit!" and ran out.

Yup. Gonna die.

Yeah, goood old Maril...Marrel...whatever. Yeah, luckily I was up the couple of times that thing went off. The first time I thought it was someone's alarm clock. I only figured it out when I went out into the hall with the intent of making Andrea or some other R. A. shut it off.

yeah that's what happened to me with the Great Fifth Floor Fire that almost killed me...i was sleeping in my room across the hall from the fire and i thought that the alarm was someone's car alarm. the only reason i found out what it was (before dying or having the very slow fire department banging on my door) was that i finally was awakened sufficiently that i decided to go get some food.

yeah isn't that wonderful? of course it was my idiotic self that asked for a room on the 5th floor!

Yup. Sister Patsy threw a big fit for me, I guess they're going to turn up the volume or something. *whew*

Good, they need to. That thing would have never woken me up, let alone anyone hard of hearing, or remotly a deep sleeper.

Yeah. Lots of people said what you did - that it sounds more like someone's annoying alarm clock than a Fire alarm. I can hear Old Main's better over here than ours.

...the Fireman opened my door...

Don't you have something more to say about that?!

Hahahaha. Nah, he wasn't that cute. And I thought it was a real fire, so I really didn't get a chance to flirt with man in yellow:)

I slept through one once at my old college (because I was dreaming about a fire drill, of course.) I just managed to get out of bed before the fireman arrived. I think they thought I was high.

I think they thought I was high.

Same here. I'm just glad I *wasn't* asleep, cuz you know - sleepting "atire" isn't exactly suitable for people to be around *g*

Of course...ah...I haven't seen you in your sleeping attire...so I couldn't tell you...

Only *because* he was a fireman. If it hadn't been for the gear, I wouldn't have given him a second glance.
