I was just looking over at I Need a Parrot, and my fics have been read quite a bit, like more people than I thought *read* fanfic. That makes me happy. Wonder if I should write more...
I know what you mean. I read other fics and I think god they're so much better than mine! Then once someone said to me that my work was so far ahead of hers. But I thought the same thing about her work! Just shows ya!
Totally. Like the fact that a couple of my favorite authors ever have praised *me* for various fics. It's like being an actor just starting out, and then all of a sudden Elizabeth Taylor is giving you props. heh.
