Okay, so it's bad enough that I'm still a little sick. Now it's more of a soar throat/coughy kind of thing than a I want to die sorta thing, so hey that's a plus. But that's bad enough. It's also not fun that my computer still won't work with the internet (I blame DePaul). And it's even not that bad that tomorrow is check-in and the campus will be crawling with freshmen and returning students turning this quiet place into yet another sonic boom. But now, whenever I go anywhere, I have to RUN. I cannot finish a whole cigaretter during the daylight hours. Now that we have to smoke outside, that is. There seems to be a whole fucking swarm, no, a plethora of bees right outside of Daugherty, conveniently where we have to smoke now. I kid you not, there are a few people who have gotten stung several times in one day. And to make matters worse, the bees keep procreating, so now there are three times as many as there were this time last week. I shudder to think of what next week will bring. And then today, walking from Daugherty over to Sophies, where I am now, a bee stalked me. Literally, it followed me and buzzed in my ear and scared the crap out of me all the way over here, causing me to look like a mad-man swatting at the air and jumping and doging things others may not be able to see. And then-THEN I get to the door of Old Main, and the damn thing stings me as I walk into the building. What kind of justice is this? It was not even comforting knowing that the damn thing died for stalking and stinging me. I'm outraged. Damn you bees. DAMN ALL YOU BEES!!! So if you come to Barat, beware of the masses of swarms of killer bees awaiting innocent prey.
