< pimp> I don't do this nearly enough, since I usually don't get a chance to read any thing lately. But I've decided it's time to do a little fic reccomendationing for those Spander Shippers on my flist or for anyone just passing by (*waves*).

First and foremost - possibly the best fic writer I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Wonderful lady who posesses enough talent to make Tim Burton blush. You guessed it - [livejournal.com profile] tabaqui. More of a general rec, go read everything she's ever written, because it's all good. More specifically, her latest - The Golden Wren. It's her CoSoRanOb entry, and it's bloody marvelous. Go, now! What are you waiting for?

Secondly, my new friend [livejournal.com profile] lunabee34. Not only is she lurvely, but also a great S/X shipper:) Go read her Valentine's Day Fic, A Functional Level of Abnormality. It's really good.

And finally, [livejournal.com profile] kyrieane's Tin Soldier. She's a great writer, and this fic is sweet and sad and schmoopy. S'got it all.

And also - nearly everyone else's entry at the CoSoRanOb. We've got some amazing writers over there.

That's all for now, kiddies:) < /pimp>
Sweet! This is much older than I thought!

I am going to die at 57. When are you? Click here to find out!

Whatever work I have for today? Totally being put off for another hour or so - Poltregiest III is on! *whoot*

Man, what an awesome day! What have I done? Well, let's see - I took a shower, shaved, moisturized, and gave myself a pedicure (yes, I am that gay - and Damn proud of it). Sandal season isn't too far off, now! *whoot* As much as I love pretty shoes (just ask my closet), I actually hate wearing shoes. When I was growing up, I preferred to be barefoot - ran around my neighborhood all the time with no shoes or socks on. It was great. Wish I could still do that:)

Also? Watched mucho television. Poltregiest, Poltregiest III (which is still on), parts of Zoolander (okay, some of it was funny), and about half of Night at the Roxburry (yeah, I chuckled a bit). The music in Roxburry started my toes a tappin, so I've been on a music aquiring spree - adding mucho music to my "DANCE DANCE DANCE" mix. *whoot* So I've been busting a move here in my room and singing with it. Gotta love me because I'm so damn cute:)

Still got a boatload (a fairly good sized boat, at that) of homework I need to do before I lay down to sleep tonight. But, I'm not gonna stress. Why? Because stressing out about it doesn't make it get done any faster or any better.

Yeah, those blues totally went away. It probably has something to do with the fact that the sun's out today and it's 60 degrees. Don't anyone remind me that it's supposed to snow tomorrow. Don't get me wrong - I really do love winter. It's just so long. I like the cold, but I don't like being cold. Does that make sense? Oh well.

So now I'm off to finish up the REST of my Child Psych work, and complete the book and workbook for Counseling Theories. And then it'll be time to watch One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest again, jot some notes. Hopefully I'll also get a let over some of the summaries I have to do for Research Methods or start my paper for Bio that's due on Friday. But CT and CP are the big ones on the agenda for today.

But first to make some Orange and Tangerine zinger iced tea *g*

PS - anyone got any dance music recs?

So, I'm reading some of the 300 pages of reading I have due tuesday for Counseling Theories, and I just read about Person-centered therapy. WTF? It's a therapeutic style where the therapist basically provides no guidance, no explanation, no interpretation, and no diagnosis/treatment. Isn't that a lot like having a friend? Rogers was a dumbass.

I've been reading too long... A major principle of Gestalt Therapy (and aren't you learning a lot tonight!?) is "Organismic self-regulation". When I first read it, I read it as "Orgasmic self-regulation". *headdesk*

Can anyone guess who's having drive-by images of spandery goodness?
