S'a good day:)

Okay, three good things of today:

1) Latest fic is well recieved which makes me ookily happy.

2) Got a promotion at work! That office that I share with everyone? Now, it's mineallminehahahaha officially exclusively mine. Went into work today and was working on my Spring Break Snowmen bulliten board, and all of a sudden get called back to Sue's office. She's my sort-of-superior/boss/supervisor type person. More or less, she signs my checks. Anyhoo, she says to me that she's got a project for me to work on for the rest of the quarter, and if I do well on it the rest of the year. Me, being my nervous self, was all confused as to what it could be. Turns out they needed someone to head up the Barat Series advertising and marketing stuff, and they thought of me! I got my own office, phone, and I even get my name on the door of the central office. Sweet, no? Oh, and also - I get a raise. So, *whoot*

3) Went and saw Finding Neverland. Four words - cried like a baby. Was a bit slow at times for me, seeing as how I'm terrible at following Britspeak I probably missed a bunch of stuff. But otherwise it was fucking amazing. Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet *thud*. I've loved Kate in anything I've ever seen her in. Johnny Depp, though, I'm a little wonky about - I mean come on, he's made as many bad movies as good ones. But in this movie, I was floored. And at the end - I won't spoil, but that scene of Neverland with Kate. I just lost it. The four (or was he twelve?) year old in the seat next to me gave me funny "you're a dork" looks, but I couldn't help it. That stuff always does me in. I have a knackering to watch Titanic again to see Kate. She's just so pretty and nice and yeah - top of my "Go Straight" list.

Upcoming movies I'm going to see in the next few weeks - Kinsey, Closer, White Noise, Phantom, The Aviator, Spanglish, Series of Unfortunate Events, and Life Aquatic. Well, those are the ones I *want* to see, but I doubt I'll see more than one or two of them. For once, it seems like there are a bunch of good movies out. Bout damn time - sick of the crap they've had the past four years or so.

And now, to write more Sunlight. Almost done with part IV.

And then to read some more Housman before Sleepy Time.
