Damn, wish I could find my camera. Some great photography scenes tonight! Simply amazing, and sooo beautiful. Right now in Lake County, they say we have a foot of snow on the ground from the past 36 hours with another 3-8 expected overnight. Freaking amazing, the beauty of it. And it was really nice - I went out a half hour ago to dig Ernie(my car) out of the mountainous drifts and start him and rock in back and forth out of the spot (in case I need to go anywhere) and pack down the snow. As I was getting out of my car, the Lake Forest PD drove by and asked if I needed any help if everything was allright. And the cop was soooo cute *g*. Told him no and that I was just making sure I could get out if I needed to, and he said he hopes I won't go anywhere and if I do he's gonna know and find me and escort me straight back to school (not in a dirty way). Hee! Nice guy. I was like "awww". Glad I had on 13 layers of coats, scarves and hats so he couldn't see me blush.
So that's the snow. In other news, I got booted out of Joy's office (since she up and left). BUT what's really cool is that I got moved to another office. They're calling it the Student Worker's office. And it's quite a bit smaller (about a third of the space the other office was) and I'll be "sharing" it with about four other people. Bad, no? Nope. By "sharing" they mean that other people will be using it, but never at the same time I am. And, I'll kind of be the one "in charge" of it, more or less. Making sure the paperwork and whatnot gets out and in in and orderly fashion. And I got to clean it out and hook everything up and spruce up the joint. *AND* I have a plant! And a view of the courtyard with a window. I have an in and outbox! And a phone! And I have what I'm calling my "bug-me chair". People can come in and sit in this comfy club chair next to my desk and bug me while I work. I loves it! *hugs the new office*
In the meantime, LJ is being wonky and not giving me comments. Hopefully that'll be fixed and hopefully I'll have some comments on Sunlight or Shadow to reply to *glares*.
