Right. So today was my first Lincoln Park class. I had to work till 11:30, since Krystle let me off early considering I finished everything there was to do quickly (love that!). So I flew down 94 and got to LPC about noonish. And It took me another half hour to finally give up on trying to find parking and just park in the garage - gah!

Anyway, this was my very first time down there by myself, completely alone, without *anyone* there with me. I was freaking terrified. And the people down there aren't the nicest people, so I was afraid to ask for help. See, the class I had today is in a building which is inside another building that is connected to another building, and all three have the same damn enterance. Eep! And it turns out, the room I was looking for was Levan Rm 100. And Levan Center is to the right, through the door. And on the right side of the foyer, there is a door with room 100 on it. Now, logically this would be the correct room. *but* With everything I know of DePaul, that means nothing. There was no inclination to suspect they had followed logic, I mean this building is seriously fucked up. Anyway, I scouted out that room as the only possiblity, and went to wander around campus for a bit. Eep! Too many people. It's very scary. But, I did like it a lot. Sat outside for about a half hour and chainsmoked and pretended to be engrossed in a conversation on my cell (how pathetic) and basically cowared in the corner until class. Bout 10 minutes early, I walked back to Levan and searched all over for a *different* Room 100, to no avail. So I go to the room I thought *should* be it. And I see this girl who also looks lost. Somehow, apparently I look like I know what I'm doing, and she asks me if that is Levan, Rm 100? And I said...I dunno, I hope so. I'm from Barat. I swear about 4 people stopped and stared at me like I was purple or something. So strange...

Anyway, really long story short, the room did indeed turn out to be the correc troom *gasp*. And my prof. is. so. fucking. hot. Oh my god. And funny. He's like Dr. Morsch meets Tom Cruise via Interview with a california surferboy tan. *melts* And it looks like it's going to be a cool class. And what's really awesome is that it's a *college* class. No attendance, no stupid group crap. You show up if you want, do what you need to do. He's strict. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to a *normal* class. I think Barat's the reason I got so lazy and procrasonating.

Too many things in my head. To tired to care. I think I'm going to go to bed. It's not even 8:00 yet though... Sorry for the incomprehensible train of thought in this post...

Dude.
Don't be so scared!
It's just people - people who don't know you and therefore can be ignored!
And even poo-pooed!
:)
Sounds like the class will be cool, though.

And....YM me sometime, k? I need to ask about the whole LJ background thing, i guess i forgot how.

No, I wasn't so much scared by the people - normally it wouldn't bother me. It was just really really overwhelming. Considering their Student Center down there is a scosh smaller than our entire campus up here. I was just kind of going through a country mouse lost in the big bad city there today. But I suppose it all worked out - I found my way there and back and have lived to tell the tale. Skeery stuff, matey.

Yeah, considering this is my *second* time taking the damn class. This time around is completely different. For one, I'm *interested* this time. For another, the teacher isn't a thousand year old sphincter... :)

Sure, just YM when ya see me online, it usually means I'm there.
