As exclaimed by [livejournal.com profile] bloodroses27 upon entering the Harold Washington public library. The place was freaking huge! I went up to the 9th floor and didn't pysically see any BOOKS! They have FOUNTAINS! It was so big! I took her down there for her 21st birthday. It was actually fun. Because I'm poor, I volunteered to get up early on a Saturday morning and drive her downtown to listen to Neil Gamen's talk and get her book signed by him. When she finally got to the front of the line, he saw me taking a picture of her and him, and told her to come around. She got to touch him and everything. She was happy:) It was actually more fun than I thought it was going to be. Except the guy, William Pact, who was up before Neil, said

DIE QUILT DIE
DIE QUILT DIE
DIE QUILT DIE

I thought I was going to climb over the three rows of people in front of ust and choke him to death! But, it was okay...I didn't...Too many damn witnesses. But, he still lives. Grrr...And, he was pretty funny. Neil Gamen was hilarious though. He's really kinda hot too...All dark and mysterious and funny, and a cute little accent (I KNOW!).

Anyway, the rest of my week...I had a bunch more stuff happen, but don't remember exactly what. Aside from all the shit with Chris's psycho mom...I can't really remember everything. I had 4 finals back to back to back to back, so that's another reason I don't remember anything. Well, last night Chris took me to Big Bowl, one of his favorites. Don't tell him, but I couldn't stand the food. It was authentic tai food. It might have been what I got, but I was up half the night trying to digest it. It was the only thing that wasn't choked to death with vegetables. Icky vegetables. Raw vegetables are okay, but I don't like cooked ones, except corn and maybe peas. So the leftovers are in the fridge...they'll probly be eaten later...by the garbage shoot, unless someone wants them? But after that we went and saw Finding Nemo. It was sooooo cute. I laughed the whole time! It is without a doubt the best Disney movie in a LONG time! And they have a couple new ones comming out soon that look okay. So, maybe the sequal dynasty has come to an end!!! YAY!!! Anyway, I need to do other stuff, like pack. UGH. So bye.

No Quilt Spared

Quilt issues much? See, some accents are good. And Neil is hot, in that geeky kind of way, but still hot.

Re: No Quilt Spared

Yes...I may never be able to once again cope with quilts...EVER...perhaps one day...I don't think it's so much accents that bother me, it's how THICK they are. His was very subtle, I thought, and light.
