I was just looking through some livejournal friends' pages. I came across one that was home to a 13 year old gay boy. I found out from various sources the bad news that he killed himself two weeks ago. He killed himself because he was gay. I just wanted to post his journal entry here so that even more people may go and pay tribute to him.

I just don't understand why things have to be so bad, so difficult. I'm doubtless that that age isn't difficult for everyone. I remember it. It was horrible. I've lost so many friends along the way to drugs, drinking, disease. And I'm only 18. At this point I would like to ask any self-rightous bastards out there who believe we *choose* this lifestyle: Why would we choose something so difficult? Why would we choose a lifestyle we only have a 57% chance of living fully in? Something needs to be done. Soon...Poor kid.
