Oh...

So I stole this from [profile] karenbear , and I think it's a pretty great idea. So here:

I know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes spinach."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.

I have always lived in the same house. My parents bought this place when my mum was pregnant with me, and due to my current financially challenged status I still live with my folks, so I've never moved house.

Damn! I used up all my creativity filling this out for someone else hahaha. I must just not be a very interesting person.
Let's see....I'm at University. I don't really know why. I hate society and how it wants to make me work for the rest of my life. I'm trying to find away around that, so far without much luck. Any suggestions?

Strictly Ballroom is a great movie! As is Edward Scissorhands, Ghost, and Return to Oz. Liked Clueless and like Legally Blonde soully on the basis of Reese Witherspoon. Yay for movies!

I, Cassandra Mathias, am pro-life.

And cute as a button.

LOL

Really? I didn't know that. Humph

LOL

Are you saying my cute-as-a-buttonosity isn't immediately obvious?!

...oh, and don't worry: I always vote pro-choice, because most pro-life politicians are jackasses in every other arena. I think abortion should be legal because if it isn't we're just gonna plunge back into an era of botched back-alley abortions that cause waaay more trauma and heartache and unnecessary death than a clinical procedure.
What I wish the pro-life lobby would do is concentrate on decreasing demand for abortions by increasing funding for health programs, education, making reliable birthcontrol more available, upping the quality of foster care, blah blah blah.

Anyway. That was a whole bunch of exposition no one asked for. Guess I just felt like articulating that. Huh.

No, it's cool. I myself am pro-choice. I personally don't agree with nor like abortion, but I think it should be souly up to the woman. Like yur stance though.

No problemo

Re: LOL

[personal profile] caviling 2003-12-12 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
Why thank you! I certainly think being pro-choice is generally a better way to be; frankly, I'm frequently untrustful of people who identify as pro-life because it so horribly often comes along with a whole crapful of misogyny and backwardness and BS. (For example, folk who are "pro-life" and support the death penalty. What the crap?) So I guess what it really comes down to is being politically pro-choice but personally pro-life...heh, what a weasly way of putting things. I rule.
