I’m frozen
By your icey glare.
I stand here numb,
Paralized.
Your words burn me
With their frigid truth.
What can I say
To warm you to my heart?
What can I do
To seek the warmth
I now understand
You are unable to give?
I cannot move.
Frozen by fear
Frozen by hate
Frozen with love
All I see are the shards
Of glass encasing me
In this wasteland,
The winter that I
Find myself lost in,
In you.
I am trapped
Like an autumn leaf
Between the layers of
Frozen water’s sheaths.
I am held by you
In this unnatural
All too real
Frozen embrace.
I am held with
Transparent arms.
And kissed by
Ghostly frostbitten lips.
Love me.
Don’t leave me
Forever
Frozen.
