My husband graduated with double honors from the University of Chicago. In 2005. He got a full-time job YESTERDAY. He's been working part-time/temporary crap jobs for over a year. These things happen. His parents didn't understand either; in their world a college degree (esp. from the U of C) = INSTANT PRESTIGE JOB. So, seriously, screw that attitude.
