Thanks, [personal profile] tabaqui!

Somehow this is my response to [livejournal.com profile] tabaqui's prompts of "green, anise, wool." I think maybe I'm a little rusty.

Far off in the distance, where the coal-dust colored clouds were rolling over the treetops on the horizon, the approaching storm was gaining strength and bringing with it an early nightfall. The hum of twilight insects surrounded us, permeated by the mechanic whine of the cicadas’ song. His strong arms held me tight, I locked inside them like an iron cage. Silken lips fell against my neck as nimble fingers tiptoed across my chest. Sluggishly leaning against him, my eyes closed and opened as if under a powerful drug – heat and cold rushing through my body as the wind ripped through this clearing. We rocked as the trees swayed, as the tall grass bent low to the earth. The violent shock of purple anise against this gray-green light hypnotized me as my body rose and fell to meet his. Great lights blurred in my vision as winged fluorescent green sparks glowed bright and danced throughout this enchanted meadow. The feel of his fleecy chest against my back sent my body quivering against the coarse wool blanket beneath me. I was blinded by his final drive even as the sky shot white, violet, and blue. Our cries were muffled by the first great steps of the giant in the distancemaking the earth beneath us tremble. Again those lips against my skin as the great giant began running towards us, his steps falling faster and closer. And finally, the sky burst open and great tears of joy fell coldly against our balmy skin.
