i finally got around to reading every chapter (i'd had the memories list saved for ages) and let me say... girl, i love this. it has EVERYTHING i want in a story: Xan and Spike bonding over their shared pain; drifting away from the Scoobies; getting rid of Anya; Willow finally being told off; Xander standing up for himself, not to mention having what sounds like a really great job which finally appreciates him. just -- wow. i adore this. i can't wait for the next part... although i'm still worried about the dreams, and how many lies Xan seems to be hiding behind just to get some space...
