My high school philosophy teacher thought I'd like him, so he lent me a copy of The History of Sexuality. Isn't that cruel? As if there was any way I would have comprehended that in high school.
I seriously haven't been able to go longer than a semester without seeing The History of Sexuality on a syllabus. As someone in my lit. theory class observed, "academia is part of the Foucult."
