Baby save up all your tears, you might need them away...

Today is a good day:) I've got the positive energy going, the cosmic mojo working for me, and I'm all about the good vibes today.
In other words, I'm in a good mood. Despite getting too little sleep last night, I got up early this morning and finished making the food for the party tonight. Well, it's not so much "food" as snacks. I made strawberry butter, strawberry cream cheese, and my yummy garlic herb cheese spread. Also made some onion dip and some kickin ranch dressing. There's going to be a couple kinds of bread, crackers, chips, pretzels, popcorn and penuts, oh, and M&M's. See, I'm doing this cocktail lounge theme. I've strung up lights and I'm doing a whole bunch of candles and bar food and stuff. It's going to be great!
I managed to sneak away to check my email here at DePaul. On the way, I dropped off my pants at the seamstress to have them fixed by the time I go to work tomorrow (they're split in the crotch, grrrr). And I get here and open my email - all kinds of wonderful feedback from my new fic! *whoot* I'm really excited about it, and I can't wait to get more out there. But I'm trying to pace myself, here. I think until it gets towards the end, I'm only posting one part a week; maybe two. We'll see how it goes:)
And now to get back home so I can get everything set out and take a shower before my guests arrive! *g*
