That was...dissapointing.

Just watched The Village. Please tell me I'm not the only one who had the thing figured out within the first half hour? Please?

Don't get me wrong - I liked it because of artistic aspect. I love movies that are like that, but - couldn't we come up with an original idea? *rolls eyes* Glad I didn't buy it.

Nope. You're not the only one. When I saw it I was like "These people are either horrible actors or there's something else going on." That's when I figured it out.

I didn't really like that movie too much. It had a few good parts but I had to snort every time I heard something like "those we do not speak of" or "the bad color." But that may have also been from the special added commentary of my father and brother.

hahaha

i had that shit figured out before i even saw the movie. i read an interview he gave where he said it was about "social control" and i predicted the ending. lol. for me, it seemed it was an indictment of the war on terror to ...did you get that vibe?

Do you mean the monsters or where they were at?

Either way, figuring that out wasn't really the point of the movie. It's a character study. *shrugs* I sort of liked it, but then again, I went into it expecting a character study, not a horror flick.
