Well, I can honestly say if there's ever a fire here I'll burn up and die. Jesus H. Christ! We just had a fire drill. I couldn't hear the alarm AT ALL. I had no clue anything was happening until the Fireman opened my door and then I saw the lights. I was like "Shit!" and ran out.

Yup. Gonna die.

Good, they need to. That thing would have never woken me up, let alone anyone hard of hearing, or remotly a deep sleeper.

Yeah. Lots of people said what you did - that it sounds more like someone's annoying alarm clock than a Fire alarm. I can hear Old Main's better over here than ours.
