Fic Info and Question Meme

Um, for those that are interested (didn't get much pos. fb last chapter), I'm currently playing with a new installment of In Sunlight or Shadow. I say "playing with" because I'm still kind of hesitant to write. I just wanted to drop a note letting those who still like it know that more should be coming. No word on when, yet, cuz uh - my life? Kinda hectic lately:)

And now, because I've got lotsa newbies on my flist, I'm doing the question meme again. Go ahead - ask me any question. Don't be shy, I'm not. If you're squicky about asking something, you may comment annonymously. See, I'm cool like that. Only rule: no more than three questions.

Ask away *g*.

Thank you!

Spike or Xander?

[identity profile] chocgood84.livejournal.com 2005-01-21 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
If I *had* to choose, I'd pick Xander. For more reasons than I could list:)

Yay! I get Spike!
Just to take him for a beer, you understand...

[identity profile] trepkos.livejournal.com 2005-01-21 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
and maybe snuggle...

[identity profile] chocgood84.livejournal.com 2005-01-22 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
Riiiiiight. "snuggle" *snerk*

So, which Buffy/Angel character do you think you are most similar to and why?

[identity profile] chocgood84.livejournal.com 2005-01-22 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
Also Xander. There's so much more to him than anyone gives him credit for. He's the heart of the group, even though his friends don't respect him or treat him well. I feel like that most of the time, and that very few people know the real me.

I haven't read any of this fic--where is it archived or websited (see, we English majors can create verbs with aplomb), please?

And we can ask questions? Okay--what's your favorite book of time?

Lorraine

All of my fic is at my website, Forgotten Psychosis, under "Fiction".

And, my favorite book...gosh that's a hard one. Four come to mind - DaVinci Code (Brown), Density of Souls (Rice), and Odd Thomas (Koontz), and Pandora (Rice). If I *had* to pick one, it would probably be Odd Thomas.

I liked DaVinci Code; have you read Angels and Demons, its precursor? I think it's actually a better book.

[identity profile] chocgood84.livejournal.com 2005-01-22 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
I haven't actually. I heard it's not as good, though. Hmm...*adds to list*

I thought Angels was better because it seemed to focus more strongly on characterization than DaVinci. Also, I think all the hype kinda spoiled DaVinci for me. Angels seemed more original because there wasn't a tv show nattering on about **SECRETS** every five seconds. If you like that sorta book, another good one to read is Gospel by William Barnhardt. It's one of those where the present-day story is fiction but all the footnotes and academic stuff is factual. It's a story about the Gnostic gospels. Very cool.

I did love how he tied a completely fictional thriller into historical perspectives. I think, though, the reason I loved it so much *was* the historical stuff. I'd never heard that take on Mary Magdelene before, so that helped to keep me into it.

Thanks for the Rec, though, I'll keep it mind.

Favorite candy?

[identity profile] chocgood84.livejournal.com 2005-01-22 01:15 am (UTC)(link)
Favorite moive:
This actually changes every so often, but for the moment I'd have to say Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Favorite candy:
Candy bar = Whatchamicallit
Candy = Skittles

If you could meet anyone, who would it be?:
Hmmm...Ellen Degeneres. Just so I could tell her how much I admire and respect her and how much she's helped me.
