*grumble*

Third day in a row without sleep. Can barely see to type this. My eyes are tired and my entire body *hurts*. About two seconds away from crying because all I want is to sleep. After work or on my lunch break, I'm going to walgreens and getting some sleeping pills. I hate using pills for anything, but I can't keep going on like this. God I fucking hate insomnia. All I want is to sleep. But my fucking brain won't keep running at night.

I'm sorry, sweetie. :( If it wasn't for the fact that it would probably hurt your ears, I'd sing you a lullaby. I really hope you get some sleep soon. *huggles*

Melatonin? My friend Ruzz in an old blog, had good experiences with it. If you look around the date of that post you can see his general complaints about insomnia.

I also know from a different friend that there's an antidepressant that doesn't work well for depression (don't ask me, I don't understand it either) but does help to shut your brain off if you take it at bedtime. I can't think of the name right now. But he says it doesn't leave him with the hung over sleeping pill feeling in the morning. But try the melatonin first, if you haven't.

"I can't think of the name right now"

Doxepin? My doc. gave me some of those to help me sleep...

No, starts with a T, but the only T med I can think of at the moment, other than tylonol is tagamet. Neither one it it. ;-)

The friend in question has been on so many antidepressants that it's hard to keep track of. But this one has helped him sleep for pretty much the whole time I've known him. I'll call him today.

Got it -- terazdone -- spelling is aproximate, or correct if I happen to have guessed right.

Oh, I think I've heard of that!

A friend of mine uses melatonin and really likes it. If the drug store carries it, I may try it. I'm looking for just a one night fix. With *one* night of good sleep, I'll be about a 1000% percent better, you know?
