Hah. I'm in the Student Center today using the internet. The place has been swarmed by incoming freshman for the Premiere! DePaul! orientation program. I have this incredible urge to run into the room where the program is being held and eithere shouting "Fire!" or something a little less illegle like "RUN AWAY WHILE YOU CAN! Before they suck all that is good and kind and decent out of you! Oh, and money!" But somehow I think perhaps that could interfere with my wishes to graduate before I'm a senior citizen.
I am officially flat broke - just wrote out a check for July bills. Yuck. I won't even say how much (little) money I have, just know that right now those starving kids in asia have a one-up on me. Ah, but why am I broke? Because I just bought a futon and an air conditioner. That's right, folks - I'm moving up in the world. Finally these neck cramps and back aches might go away! As for the air conditioner, all I can say is that today when I passed Walgreens, the temp said 105 @ 3:00pm.

wilde_moon, did I mention to you that the grand marshall of the parade Sunday was Will Cruz? And that I got to hang out with him at the bar afterwards? *g*
Okay, I'm going to *finally!* go and reply to some emails - some of you have been waiting patiently for weeks:) And then its off to the post office and back to the ole apartment for a healthy dinner of grilled cheese sandwhiches and chicken noodle soup. And for desert - sliced pears. Mmmm.
