Grrrr!

I'm soooo about ready to give up on this fic. Maybe it's because I skipped last week, but I cannot seem to make Sunlight work anymore. I've been picking at it and deleting and starting over all week. And still, nothing. *sigh* I think maybe I've lost whatever it was I had. *headdesk* It's just so frustrating because I know exactly where I want it to go, I've got every other part of this story figured out and notes up the butt. I've even got the final FINAL scene written. But getting from here to there? C'est impossible! I thank shear luck that I got my ficathon assignment done. I think I might possibly be *gulp* ficced out. Someone help? PLEASE?

Eh, I'm going to bed and forgetting about it for tonight. Maybe tomorrow I'll have a fresh look, get it working again.

Beta req?

Hey, um, anyone on my flist that's been reading Sunlight? I've been doing this story unbeta'd, and so far it's been fine(ish).

But now that I'm in this hard part, I'm a little worried. I'm almost finished with this week's chapter. Was wondering if someone could look over it and make sure it doesn't suck? Don't want to post it until I get some kind of confirmation. Just for some general feedback and whatnot?

The blues

I got 'em. Don't ask me why. I think I'm just coming down from the rush that was this week. Just feeling very worn out and very...blue. And also? I want to order lots of junk food and sweets and just binge for tonight. *sigh* But I can't. Even shopping last night didn't really do anything for me. I went out and bought a pair of nice leather and suede flip flops. And a new pair of jeans to replace those that ripped. And I bought Bambi. I think maybe I'll go watch that now, see if it picks up my spirits?

What it all boils down to is: Winter needs to be over, like yesterday. I have a hunch that once things start getting green and warm again, I'll cheer up a bit.

Holy Crap

It's a fic explosion! Dude, my entire flist is practically ALL fanfiction. On the one hand I wanna tear through and read it aallll because I never get to *read* anymore. But the other part of me is like "ugh, reading? isn't that...doing something?"

So hopefully sometime soon, people, I'll get around to it.
