It's been two years since I needed a resume, but now that I'm graduating in nearly a year (guh!), I think its time to rebuild one and get it out there.  But my computer took the resume with it when it crashed last year.  So I have to completely redo it, from scratch.  I don't wanna...

I need to talk to LPC Office of Liberal Arts and Science to get this whole "I'm undeclared in my major" crap straightened out.  That could easily take hours to get through to the person I need to speak with.  Thus, I don't wanna...

I seriously need to start and complete my Research Methods manuscript like RIGHT NOW.  But it's boring and tedious and a waste of perfectly good free time.  I don't wanna...

Also, I need to be about half way done on my Bio paper, or at the very least have all my sources compiled and cited.  This will be stressful and strenuous.  I don't wanna...

And I need to start on configuring my genogram for Counseling Theories next week.  This is basically compiling and illustrating a list of patterns between multi-generational sections of our family.  It is primarily a "family tree" only this one shows history of drug abuse/alchoholism/domestic violence/etc.  This will not be fun, and therefore, I don't wanna...

*sigh* sometimes life sucks - specifically wen you have to do things you don't wanna.

Just sent in my application and resume for a job working at Navy Pier.  The title is Amusement Attraction Supervisor.  Sounds kind of fun, and even if it's not - it's still Supervisory work.  The best part, though?  It pays $11 an hour.  And at even the minimum of 20 hrs per week (I'll probably work at least 30 if I get it), I'll still clear enough money per month to pay my rent, bills, and *still* have enough to go out once or twice a week.

*crosses fingers*

I think I've now memorized how to cite and reference almost any type of material using the APA format.

*headwall*

I haven't even officially written anything - just formating, refrences, tables, charts, and the like - and I'm already at 5 pages. Jayzus.

And yes, since this is my hell, I'm going to Spam you all tonight keep posting on my progress. *sticks tongue out at you*

A side note - cold coffee is gross, unless of course it's supposed to be cold in which case frozen coffee is yummy. But for the moment, luke-cold hour-old battery-acid coffee? Not so much of the good. And now my tummy hurts.

So those of you that read Kin to Sorrow might get a kick out of this.

I'm writing my research manuscript, right? Next thing I know, there's this big 'ole honkin plotbunny sitting on my lap and wanting to take over the keyboard.

A bunny in which Ph.D!Spike is a researching who's current study is about closeted gay men in southern California. Xander is an unsuspecting participant of the study. One night they're all alone in the lab and well, you know...

I don't know what's scary - the fact that I think I could really write it, or the fact that this is the second Human AU fic bunny that's nibbled at me. Not that I don't enjoy a good HAU every once in a while, but write one? NEVER!
