Fic Update: In Sunlight or in Shadow (7/?)

Title: In Sunlight or in Shadow (7/?)
Author: chocgood84
Pairing: Spike/Xander
Rating: R
Notes: I know I’m moving really slow, but I want to make sure it’s written well. And also – fb is *huge* plus:)
Disclaimer: I don’t own Spike, Xander, or Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If I did, this wouldn’t be fanfic, it’d be cannon. These belong to Mutant Enemy and its creator, Joss Whedon. No harm, no foul.

Previous parts here.

In which there is music and candle light. )

*snerk*

I should be doing some last minute studying before my first Bio Exam at Noon. What I'm actually doing, since I woke up all early and stuff, is putting the finishing touches on the pre-stuff of my sooper seekrit project. And, plotting out Sunlight, Chapter 8, which I'm hoping to pound out and post before Monday.

Ah, I'm such a great student I thrill myself. *rolls eyes*

In other news - I love schmoop. *happy sigh*

Angel of Music...

*thud*

Just saw Phantom. Can I just say - GAH!?

Took my breath away, really it did. Patrick Wilson? YUMMY. I've always thought of Raoul's character as a schmuck, and I always root for the Phantom. This? Made me absolutely love that character (and the actor...teehee.).

Emmy Rossum? Gorgeous as always, and really dwarfed the other actors - she was absolutely phenomenal, and the epitimy of "Christine". I can't imagine another actor in that part.

Interestingly enough, I hated the Phantom. Not so much the character at first, but the actor. *headslap* He's god-awful if you want my opinion, and I found myself wishing the Phantom would die NOW so I wouldn't have to see the guy and especially hear him *cringe*. Like, really I wanted to shove one of the candles into his eyeball.

And I should note that I'm probably especially critical because Phantom's possibly my favorite of all time musicals. I would give my left testicle to see it on stage even once.

And that wraps up my review - now I need the soundtrack and to see it a couple more times.
