on a downtown train...

Yay. Rode the el all by myself for the very first time tonight. I was askeered. And I was giddy and excited:) Anyway, spent the afternoon in the city after class this morning. Fun times. Me and Vive went up and down Halstead for a bit, stopped into this really awesome hair salon. Well, not really hair salon - they do facials and manicures and stuff too. Anyway, they gave me some free samples because I was looking bored while Vive consulted with them on the right products to use. yay. Supposed to be really good stuff. Can't wait to use it with my appricot scrub and my deep conditioner and aftershave lotion. Meanwhile, my hair and skin have never looked and felt better. So that's a plus.

Also, me and Vive went into a few halloween boutiques they've got down there. Still no ideas for Halloween:(. Anyone wanna loan me one? And NOT DRAG.

Ugh. I'm tired and I have work in 10 hours. An 8 hour shift. Blech. Oh wait, 8 hours tomorrow and then the debate party tomorrow night. So, 10-11 hours. Bleh. And I've got 1,000 pages - seriously - to read tomorrow, and three papers and two midterms due Monday. bleck. *pounds head against wall* Ah, weekend. Why you are not here yet? Oooo. Almost!
