Well just got back a lil bit ago from the Art Institute of Chicago. How proud am I that I got down there, found it, and got back, alone and in one piece? Very. It was really neat - the AIC. A freaking maze that took me an hour just to find 20th Century Art, but I digress. I decided I'm going to do my paper on "Mother and Child" and "Fragment of" 1921. It's so beautiful and simple. And it really interesting the way the presumed father was cut out of the painting, leaving a representation of Picasso's favorite subject: Madonna with Child. Anyway, that's my thesis. I'm a tad disappointed, though. I was hoping my little trip would give my mood a much-needed boost, but it turned out to make it worse off. Eh, well, it'll pass. I'm just in a crappy place right now, and hopefully it won't last too long.
In other news, have you ever had a song that you were so hypnotized by that you couldn't stop listening to it and it just played in a continuous loop in your head. So much that you can't even go to sleep? Well dammit, I have that now. I think I may be insane. But would that really be a bad thing? Really?

This one's pretty simple and not so changed, but I think it turned out pretty good.
