They caught Hussein. Well, what now? Forest Bush (or maybe Dubya Gummp?) says he's going to be brought to justice...What, with a bullet in the head? Now, I do believe something horrible should happen to him...Possibly death, but how are they possibly going to try him in a court for war crimes? *everyone* will give him the death sentence. Why doesn't that make me feel all that great?
Okay, so they have one bad guy? Like what I've been saying through this whole thing: What happened to the *first* bad guy-Osoma? Isn't he what started this whole thing? But do they even look for him anymore? I mean, suddenly he's not all that important, yet he single-handedly caused the WTC attacks (notice my lack of usage of 9/11).
And what about North Korea. They TOLD us they have WMD. I'm not sure, did we ever find any in Iraq? And wasn't that why our men and women were originally sent over there and killed for - to find them? So how come we're not storming into North Korea and causing death, destruction, and chaos to *take* the weapons that are just hanging out in hangers across their country?
Is it me or are Dubya's speeches starting to get shorter and more forced? This morning's brief sounded more like an inspirational passage from the "good book" than it did a brief to the American people. He's sounding more and more fake - not suprising since he *is* fake. There's too many things surrounding this to be so calm. He's gotta know there's no way he's going to be reelected. He has to.
And another thing, why so close to Christmas? That's all I'm saying about that...nope, not going to metion the word that begins with con and ends with spiracy. They even just mentioned it on CNN justnow: "a christmas bonus".
Finally, I'd like to quote
thebratqueen on what she has to say about it, because I support her and agree with her entirely:
"Of all the things that manage to amaze me about the Hussein thing, the one that gets me the most is that they broke the story at 7am on a Sunday. Considering how every other damn thing about this whole Iraq deal hasn't happened without being shoved through a PR firm, I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if they'd waited to release the news until, say, prime time. And of course you can rank me right up there with everybody else who has already said words to the effect of "Remember that 'ends don't justify the means' thing? Still true. Also it's not an end, because we still remember the part where you haven't done jack about North Korea or that guy, whatshisface, who attacked us on 9-11, or for that matter all the assholey things you're still doing in Iraq, the US, and to every single friendly relation we had the word over that doesn't involve places whose names begin with "Eng" and end with "land" and even there not really. But if you want to sit there and suck your own cock because you caught a mouse while we're over here talking about the roach problem, you go nuts honey. Still not voting for you next election.""
