Today was one of those all-time great days you never want to forget. I don't really even know *why* it was so great. I just had this sense of "Wow, things are really great right now. *happy sigh*" I think it's because the weather today was fall-ish. Well that's part of it. See, I'm happiest in the fall. Don't know what it is. Anyway, I just kind of stopped to take stock in a lot of things today. And then, of course, I wrote that fic. Which I'm proud of. It's my first. And all the FB has been very generous. *hugs flist*
And work was just great tonight. We were really slow, which a lot of times I hate because the night seems to drag on. But tonight, it was just right. I got time to just kind of chill out, which is always a plus. There was time for cleaning, and times of complete and utter silence where the only sound in the store is the fans to the hoods. And I just love my silence, I do I do. And I even got time to sit down and work out the scaffolding for a new fic, an even better fic. Don't really know what to do with it though. I don't have a legion of devoted fans yet. Hmm...wonder if I can pick one up somewhere ;)
Anyway, I'm in a great mood. 'Cept I have to wake my undead ass up at the crack of dawn tomorrow and go to church *cringes*. Ah, how bad can it be? *hides from the flashbacks* The good thing is I get to get all prettied up.
And, I've decided to fullheartedly consider transfering schools. If I do, it'll be to a state school. Something is just irking me telling me that things aren't going to work out as planned with DePaul. I guess we'll find out.
