bloodroses27 and I went and ate at Gapeesh. For those a little slow on the uptake, that's the restaurant I work at. We got to eat very nice meal in a very expensive restaurant for only $15! Gotta love discounts and gift certificates. And the only reason we had to pay that was because that's how much our drinks coast. She had a slow gin and 7-up while I had a glass of Moscato D'Asti and a killer Cosmo. I know, three drinks cost $15! But it was a nice time. Afterwords, we went to the mall to hang out until the movie started and wandered around Hot Topic. While Shawna and Andrea were meandering in there, I snuck over to AE and drooled at all the things I cannot afford.
So we got to the movie with perfect timing. The second we sat down, they started the commercials. I fucking hate that - Now, not only are there those stupid screen trivia things (that they never change), but now they have god damn tv commercials before the movie. Grrr. But we watched and la la la. The new Adam Sandler movie looks really good (suprising since I usually don't like him).
As for Mona Lisa Smile - I liked it a lot. I don't think it's the best movie ever or anything, but I thought it was pretty good. A tad longish and slow at 2.5 hours. But good overall. Definetely a Julia Roberts movie, though. So if you don't like her - probably shouldn't see it. Personally, I love her. I have yet to dislike a movie she's been in. Oh, and Tori's in it for like 20 seconds. It was pretty cool. So yeah. Good movie. Go see it. Get the soundtrack-it's fucking awesome! Now for cleaning and laundry and packing. I go home tomorrow!!!
