And yeah, i have a hard time with people who don't say 'no', too. I love my family - we're close, we really enjoy spending time together - but there's not way i'd ever hide anything about myself from them just because it makes them 'uncomfortable'. My older brother is a bit of a bigot and we have fights when he's being a homophobic or racist fuck, but we can still have fun, too.
It sucks he's so afraid of being cut off by his family - that's probably his biggest fear, you know? Telling them the one thing that will make them turn their backs on him. Sucks to live with that.
I'm glad you're doing so good, though, in better spirits and working out things with Tom - that's awesome.
