good morning, hangover

went out last night with Arben and Luther and Tony and Brian and their friend David.

it was $6 pitchers and $8 martinis at crew.

do I have to say anything else?

on the upside - I have a date with David this week, and a job interview at crew next week.

Wait.
You're saying a martini - a *glass* of martini - cost eight bucks???

OMFG. That's...insane.

Tell me it was a pitcher of martini or something because...EIGHT BUCKS FOR ONE DRINK???

*flails*

Haven't read the Harper's article ref'd in the essay, but it sounds like he could be talking about your creative writing "teacher."

Usually martini's - depending on which one - are around 10. Yes, for one drink. I know, it's crazy isn't?

Ah, city life.

Dude, it's completely fucked. What a total waste of money. You could *buy* martini stuff for eight bucks and have - however many a bottle makes.

Sheesh.

*so not cut out for the drinking life*
