It's really amazing what a relief it is, even when you're pretty sure you weren't exposed, isn't it?

I remember the first time I was tested, back when I was coming out of my young and careless phase. A friend and I went on the buddy system - really the best way, you've got someone to angst with, who knows exactly what's going through your mind because it's going through his/her mind too. I had cut out the risky behavior about the time my cousin was dxed, but it took awhile before I worked up to getting tested.

Now? Well it's become a bit of a habit, really, and holds only a little more suspense than the pregnancy test they insist on giving me every time I go to the Gyn. I still get tested, though.
