Every time you update, for some reason I go "I really like this fic. I have no idea what it's about" and I have to start over again. Then I get to "Not to ruin any Christmas surprises, but a certain ex-demon has discovered e-bay" and I remember. But then I keep reading anyway because I like it so much. I don't think I've commented before (very, very busy life) but I have really been enjoying this fic (every time I read it). This part was especially great, and I thought the dialogue when they first went into the new demon bar was perfect and in character, and wonderful, and hilarious. "There's that arrogant self-confidence we know and love" and "Inside my head there’s a gay slash demon slash drag bar playing disco with oodles of go-go dancers and shirtless cocktailers and bartenders," were my favorie lines.
Thought Xander's blocking the punches but not throwing any of his own was perfect for his character, because we all know he's not really violent unless provoked. Beautiful fic. Wonderful part.
