Okay, y'all. It looks like I'm finally getting to the point where I can be more reliable on the internet side of things. I've pretty much got a way to check email and whatnot everyday at about this time. And, if one of these jobs call me back, I'm going to have my telephone line installed next week and just do the dial-up thing (it's better than nothing). So what does this mean?

Er...more or less. I'm still not up to full power (no YIM because DePaul's server won't let me, and I still can't open limewire for the same reason.) But, now you can shower me with praise and I'll be able to respond and do the same!

I think my random vanishing email is now fixed. I can't remember if I answered the last one you sent me, but I got it at least. And then sent you a package, um, tuesday I think. So you should have it soon if not already. :-)

:-) Yay! Does the candle look candle-like to you? I'm not sure I'm fully happy with it, but I haven't had any clear insperation on how to do it better either. And is it long enough? I've now found out how to knit to the maximum length for the yarn I have, but I didn't do it in time for yours. :-( I couldn't figure a good way to make it longer, so I'm hoping it's long enough to be right, whatever right is. I'm happy you're making friends jealous with it -- or something like that. :-) I'm happy you like it?

It's actually the perfect length for me to tuck into my jackets and coats. And I think the candle looks great - it's one of those subtle details that gives it character, you know?

At some point, if you get a chance, would you get someone to snap a picture of it, or better yet, it in use (you don't have to be in it, :-) but you could be) I just realized I didn't take any before I sent it out, and it would be nice to have a record of how it turned out.
