[Warning, old fart here, about to go wandering down memory lane, I may get lost...snooze] Aah, I remember my first summer truly away from home and on my own...it was Drunkfest '85 or something like that. The actual year has escaped me. Why? Well, I was drunk, dammit! However, it is when I learned to absolutely LOATH orange juice with every fiber of my being. To this day I can't stand the stuff. You know you've had too many Screwdrivers when you've fallen off your bar stool, had to be thrown into a taxi by friends (I don't remember the taxi part), puked for two days straight and missed the first day of classes (ok, ok, that was an END of summer bash but it was still technically summer when we started bashing!). The only other drink I've learned to hate in all my years of drinking would be Chocolate Martinis...don't even get me started there, I'll just say that it involved a stretch limo in D.C. (Georgetown, to be exact) and a Martini and Cigar Bar (Yes, I smoked the damn cigars....ugh). [Done with the alcoholic reminiscing, you can tune back in now!]
Sounds like you're having a blast. Good luck with the new job and keep us posted on the internet status!
