He was explaining why he'd removed the gay pride sticker from his car and how yes, he was gay, but that wasn't ALL that he was and he was tired of the "label" and all that it brought.

That's actually exactly what happened to me. When I first came out, it was a huge deal that I was gay and I made it the biggest thing about me. I think anyone in our community needs to realize that being gay is not everything about us. And yes, I'm proud to be gay - but no more proud then the fact that I'm a student, etc. But like you said - I don't like the label and that people think that label is all I am. That's just wierd that he has the same features as me. lol.
