Just finished a new series I've been working on, thought I'd share the previews with you. Please please please, feedback would be great. I haven't done much imaging lately, I think I might be a little rusty.
Let's see if I can remember my critiquing skills from college (graphic design student). Yes, my friend that was from before you were even BORN so I may be a tad rusty! LOL. It was hammered into us to not say what we like or dislike as much what works or didn't work and why.
I think the bottom one is the most powerful for me because of the red beam, with the strong angles against the negative space. The color combination also draws me in as well and the repeated angle with the red and yellow seems to create balance, or a solid base, that holds it together. It also keeps it interesting, for me. Am I talking out my a$$ or what? LOL. In short, the bottom one does it for me. I like it. (yeah, I said it! nanny-nanny, catch me now you grumpy ole college professor!)
The "We don't say what we like" philosphy came from a guy who believed that designing record jackets (yes, I said RECORD - see, showing my age again) was "beneath" a REAL designer and was akin to working at a fast food joint. idiot.
Yes, I'm in a "mood" this evening. The sinuses are clearing up and within a WEEK too! I'm very excited and I think the sudden return of oxygen has made me woozy! ~T.
