starting with a high number never seems to work.. cause you look at it and youre like 'WOW. five times a week. thats a lot.' and then you do 5, but the next week, youre busy and you say 'oh, ill make up for it the next week' and next week comes and the cycle repeats until you realise that you only went to the gym about 15 times. or maybe youre just cooler than most of us like that. i dont know. good luck, though :) and yay for not smoking
