Suddenly the already gray room seemed to dip a few shades blacker. He felt his hackles raise, and without realizing it, his game face slipped into place.
Turning towards the window and now-missing door, he saw that the fog had intensified once more, even more dense than when they had first ventured into it. He couldn’t even see the sidewalk outside of the doorway. Something in him was begging for light, and he decided that light would be a good idea.
